Journal of Numerical
and Applied Mathematics
(Series "Numerical Mathematics")
The Journal was founded in 1965 by the Department of Numerical
Mathematics, Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv. At first
it was a regular inter-universities collection of scientific
papers and starting from 1997 it obtained a status of
scientific journal (ISSN: 0868-6912).
At least three issues of the journal are being published
annually. Every issue concerns to one of the following series:
Series "Numerical Mathematics"; Series
"Optimization" and Series "Applied Mathematics".
Electronic version of the last two Series is available at:
http://opmj.unicyb.kiev.ua
The Series "Numerical Mathematics" is being published
in cooperation with the Institute of Mathematics of National
Academy of Science of Ukraine, Ivan Franko National University
of Lviv and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
The issues of Series "Numerical Mathematics" focus
on the new scientific results in the following areas:
development and theoretical ground of new numerical
methods, application of numerical methods to complex
applied problems, investigation of abstract numerical
schemes and others fields connected to numerical mathematics.
The mission of the journal consists in joining up efforts
of Academy's and Universities' communities to enhance
the scientific level of publications and to afford young
researchers an opportunity for quick and reputable publication
of their results.
Editorial board sets oneself a goal to regularly publish
the Series "Numerical Mathematics" with the
periodicity at last one issue per year. All received
manuscripts (in English) are subject to review by anonymous
referees. The review period is set to the maximum of three
months. Based on referee reports the manuscript can be
